On the Road to Drupa – with the Offset Team
This is the final installation of our Road to Drupa series. Soon, we'll actually be talking to you from the show floor! Today, we had a chance to catch up with Rich Rindo, General Manager of our Offset business and Evandro Matteucci, Product Manager for Offset. Next stop drupa. What does the team need to achieve at the show? Rich Rindo Evandro Matteucci Evandro: Just like all the other Kodak businesses, we have to reach our sales goals. And, we've got to lead in share of voice at drupa. We did it at CES, so I know we can do it at drupa. Rich: On the emotional side, we certainly want people leaving the booth saying, "OK. I understand where Kodak is going, and see their strength in offset print. For me to succeed, I need to be working with Kodak." What has your experience been at past drupas?
Kodak Increasing Investment in Offset Print
At drupa 2016, Kodak will announce a new process free plate to help enable printers to take advantage of the expanded set of opportunities associated with UV printing, while realizing the additional savings and environmental benefits of process free technology. With demand for its process free KODAK SONORA Plates growing to over 3000 customers, Kodak’s latest addition to the SONORA Plate portfolio is designed to meet the rigorous demands of UV print applications. “By growing the SONORA Plate family to encompass UV, we are helping a broader population of our print customers to be more profitable, productive and sustainable into the future,” said Richard Rindo, GM Worldwide Offset Print and VP Print Systems Division, Kodak. “And, with SONORA Plate production facilities now located in the USA, Europe and China, local proximity enables faster supply, support and customer service for our printers around the globe.” At drupa 2016, Kodak will also showcase it
